At Fate’s End is an action-adventure game where you fight the ones you love and your skill tree is your family tree. Explore a lush fantasy world, defeat the foul creatures of the realm, and face your estranged siblings in intense, emotional duels to decide your family’s fate.
There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this game. The gameplay, art style, animations, etc... It's all masterfully done in this game.
The first thing I noticed in this game, again, was the smooth and incredible animations, visual art style, and effects. They're all top-notch and incredibly well-made. Kudos to the art directors and animators at Thunder Lotus.
The second thing I noticed is that, in the combat system, you get a new stance every time you defeat a sibling, either with words or with your blade, which can give you more tactical advantages against new enemies. The fighting itself is challenging enough that your reflexes always have to be ready, like when Camilla uses her rain of lightning. It's tough enough when you first encounter it, but easy enough once you understand the positioning, speed, and timing.
Also, like other games such as The Witcher, RDR2, Cyberpunk, Baldur's Gate, and other story-driven games, At Fate's End has dialogue options that will shape your story going forward, depending on which choices you make.
The game itself is very well-made, with good visuals, combat mechanics, and a creative storyline. If you are looking for a creative game like this, At Fate's End might be the game for you.
