Xbox Transfers Rare and Halo to Activision, Cuts Jobs

Xbox has transferred UK studio Rare and the Halo franchise to Activision while announcing the closure of Ninja Theory and significant job cuts at Halo Studios.

In a recent Xbox Wire post, it was disclosed that legendary UK studio Rare and ownership of the Halo franchise are being transferred to Activision. Additionally, Ninja Theory is facing imminent closure and there have been extensive layoffs at Halo Studios.
